[Feature Request] Grid Editor > Snap Resolution > Swing

First of all: Thank you for another great product!

Here is my feature request:

Right now it’s only possible to draw in triplets or straight notes (1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 etc).
To get a shuffle / swing feel, multiple steps are necessary:

1. Draw in straight eights.
2. Select all the note events of that drum kit piece.
3. Apply the swing slider

It would be great if the Grid Editor also had a Swing option:

The snap menu should have the

• already included 7 straight snap options,
• the 6 triplet option and
• new those triplets but as swing, that is triplets without the middle note.

BTW I am not sure if anybody really needs those 32nd or 64th triplets that are already included,
but I am very sure that the 8th shuffle and the 16th shuffle are needed by many people. 😉

Users and Toontrack stuff, what do you think about this?

I agree 100%!

I expected the swing slider would modify the grid and automatically adjust the notes to follow it, rather than working as a once-and-done effect.

Using the grid editor is very intuitive when making straight beats but trying to write swung beats feels so cumbersome. It’s disappointing as I love writing swung drum parts! 🙁
