Very easy to do in logic but like anything does require editing.

Agreed. That’s why I’d prefer to do it in EZD so I can continue to edit. As a matter of fact, I never drag my EZD midi into Logic… I just route all the input from EZD to Logic and have it follow the host. This way I can always tinker away until I’m I’m either finished or I order myself to stop tinkering. Laugh

Understood, Problem with Commitment ? Wink
Editing in logic you do have to re edit it if you change your mind, don’t you still need to do that in tinkering land in EZD2 too anyway.
They are similar in that regard.
It is just a different way of working, i think your idea is cool, I guess they blurred the lines and have brought this upon themselves with that limited Edit Play Style paradigm. I find it a bit time consuming and slows me down trying to force ideas that i can play/edit in no time.
You may just get what you want but it could be a long time coming so thats goes back to my original point .
    Its all good friend

Commitment? I think you’d have to ask some my ex-girlfriends. ;)

Seriously, are you sating that one can drag midi patterns out of EZD into Logic and then drag them back into EZD for more editing? If so, that would be very cool!

Some hosts allow for dragging back to the EZdrummer 2 Song Track, others don’t. Logic is one of those that don’t but there’s a very easy workaround:
Simply Record arm the Song Track in EZdrummer 2 and then play back the groove in Logic. The hits get recorded in EZdrummer 2 and can be further tweaked with Edit Play Style.

Appreciate the help, but I’d still like to see m y original suggestion/request added to EZD. The ability to select a given kit element and offset its hits by +/- increments would be a HUGE time saver and help in getting realistic grooves.
Plus,l I can’t believe this would be too difficult to implement.

Please pass this along to the geniuses in programing. Thanks!
