Fastest way to install on new computer?

    i am curious as to what the answer is to this because i’m looking down the barrel of a new computer myself.

    Depending on whether you install to internal or external hd/ssd, the easiest way is to use the Product Manger. Navigate to your SDX files in product manager, installation info, circled below. Edit the path to where your sdx files are installed. For example, mine are in D:/Toontrack, and external 1TB SSD. In SD3, goto settings, libraries – see 2nd pic below

    Ok, yes that makes sense to me for the expansion packs, but what about the initial Superior Drummer 3 install, can that be directed to my already existing install files as well?

    ok, not too sure on that, i think so but the actual SD3 install minus the sound files which you have did you say? is about about 230mb i think. Any issues, post back to this thread ok.

    What machine spec, if i may ask? For me an SSD was incredible, the difference in loading speed, wow!

    I very likely will add an SSD for a sample drive down the road. For now I’ll be moving and using an existing 7200 rpm drive.
