Whilst updating my products to be compatible with EZD2, the Pop & Rock kit update failed; “Your library seems damaged. You will need to reinstall the full product before applying this update”.
Does this mean I have to go right back to the original EZD DVD and reinstall plus all of the subsequent updates, or do I only need to go back to the last EZD update? (TT106_EZDrummer_WIN.zip 24/07/2011)
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
please download and install the Full Pop/Rock EZX available in your account. It is available as a separate EZdrummer 2 EZX product.

Thanks for the reply John, but that was the download that caused the error message. I’ll download it again and see what happens when I re-install.

…but you wrote it was the update that failed?
If you are applying the update without having installed the Full Product, you would be prompted to install it first.
Are we talking about the ‘TT288_EZX2_PopRock_WIN_151.zip’ ≈530MB or ‘TT288_EZX_PopRock_WIN_152.zip’ ≈19MB?

John, I have EZDrummer1 already installed. I purchased the upgrade to EZDrummer2 and downloaded the zip file. I successfully installed EZD2, then in my account section I noticed there were downloads available for the Pop & Rock Kit EZX and for my Nashville EZX. It was the upgrade to Pop & Rock EZX kit that gave the error message “Your library seems damaged. You will need to reinstall the full product before applying this update”. I just need to know whether I have to reinstall EZD1 from the DVD or just the last update, which was TT106_EZDrummer_WIN.zip dated 24/07/2011, or should I retry the P&R EZX upgrade?
I don’t appear to have either TT288_EZX2_PopRock_WIN_151.zip or TT288_EZX_PopRock_WIN_152.zip downloaded from your site. I must have missed those upgrades when they were released.

I think there’s a slight confusion here.
Your EZdrummer 1 Product contains a core library, the POP/ROCK. With your EZdrummer 2 upgrade, you got this library as a separate EZX as well (the TT288 product).
Both are available as Full Product Downloads in your account and both have updates available.
The latest update for EZdrummer 1 is the 1.4.0 update published 13/11/2014. The Full Product Download version is 1.3.2.
The ‘TT288_EZX2_PopRock_WIN_151.zip’ is the Full Download for the Pop/Rock separate EZX and its update is the ‘TT288_EZX_PopRock_WIN_152.zip’.
Since you have the Pop/Rock as a newer, separate EZX, you might as well uninstall EZdrummer 1, reinstall EZdrummer 2 and the TT288 Pop/Rock EZX.
If you don’t I suggest you try updating with the 1.4.0 updater.

Hi John, I’ve uninstalled EZD1 and performed the re-installation of EZD2 and EZXs with updates as you suggested and there were no error messages.
Thanks for your patience and help.
