I have not been able to find this info on the Toontrack website or by Googling the question:
I just purchased the Dark Matter EZX and I’m wondering what the bit depth (16 or 24 bit) and sample rate (44100 or 48k) is when it’s being used in Superior Drummer 3.
I love the Dark Matter EZX so much that I would purchase the Death and Darkness SDX if the sample specs are better.
Thanks all!

I was just researching this as well. The best post I’ve found is this… https://www.toontrack.com/forums/topic/bit-depth-sample-rate-question/
Would be cool if someone came in to confirm what I’ve concluded…
I think EZD2 and EZXs are 44.1/16bit
I think Superior and SDXs are 44.1/24bit
Using an EZX with SD3, the EZX sounds are still 44.1/16bit
Samples are upconverted and stored in ram when you initially choose your EXZ/SDX, and individual instruments.
Sorry to thread-jack, Mac. Maybe this will get us both the answer.
