EZX Rock will not Install without update

When i try to install Rock it wants me to update EZ drummer and then i get a dialog preventing me to do for the first time ever in My Mac and TT’s long term relationship.All i want to do is here this EZx i purchased. Current os is OSX 10.8.5

Is your EZdrummer showing version 1.3.3 in the GUI? Have you installed the Rock EZX from a disc or from the full download? Do you have both EZdrummer and S2 installed on your system? Can you upload a log file?

You could try uninstalling EZdrummer and downloading the latest full version of EZD from your TT account, and then try installing the Rock EZX.

This is common with Mac, instead of double clicking to install, right click and you will get the same warning with an option to Open anyway…

I was doing this in Solo so wasnt sure what was out of date . I think EZ Drummer is 131 and probably SD2 which is my main TT instrument may be out of date.
I have done updates before just never seen this pop up and hit a brick wall before.
Have never had this “common” problem ever before but thanks for the tip Bradch00

yes, this EZX does require the latest version of EZdrummer, hence why. The problem with EZdrummer installers is that we cannot sign them for 10.8 GateKeeper validation, as that would render them unusable for 10.4 customers. All our other installers are 10.8 compliant however.

… but Brad already explained how to get past this problem (and as I understand solved your issue).
