EZX (kicks and snares) velocities not working in SD3

Hello! I’ve recently bought the kicks and snares EZX pack to use in SD3.

The only problem is that there is no velocity control with the EZX pack. Every crack of the snare is the same at all midi velocities ONLY when I replace the snare with a snare from the EZX pack, not when I change the preset to the Kicks and Snares preset… When I lower the velocity, it’s still the same crack at the lowest velocity that it is at the highest. I thought these packs were supposed to be cross compatible? I really like what this pack has to offer, but it’s literally not usable if replacing the snare with one from this pack doesn’t work like I can with SD3 and it’s expansions. Also, I swore the kicks and snares EZX pack came with room mic/bleed capability as as well as alternate tunings..? I have none of this.

Let me know if this is just how it is or if I have done something wrong integrating it into SD3.

These did not help me. The problem persists when I simply change out a snare with one from the kicks and snares pack, but not when I change the preset altogether. For example, I load up the death and darkness preset and swap out the snare with an EZX snare and all of the velocities are the same, when I lower or raise the velocity, it simply just automates volume. But when I change the preset to Kicks and Snares, the snare is perfect and the hits get softer when I lower the velocity…

This defeats the whole purpose me even wanting this pack if I can’t mix and match.

EDIT:

I watched the video a few times and apparently missed this users point…

I turned off the annoying electronic mics that are auto-routed into the main snare top mic and BAM… Problem solved.
