Hello,
i’m sure this has been asked many times and might be obvious, but… I was a happy user of the SD3 core library playing live drums from my Roland kit. Recently i added an EZX and wanted to try out some presets, but it seems the different kit parts / instruments have different MIDI notes assigned, which results in my pads triggering the “wrong” instrument. For example, the toms are shifted one position.
Is this known and intended, or am i doing something wrong? The only workaround i found is to save an additional eDrum MIDI drum map and pick a matching one depending on the SDX/EZX i want to use. However, this is rather tedious and seems unnecessary.
Any hints?
Thanks in advance
Ralf.
Hi,
can you please specify which EZX and MIDI Preset you are using?

John

Hello John,
sorry for the late reply. The EZX in question is “Modern Metal”, which has the toms shifted by one position. I’m using a Roland TD12 with the matching map. I am not 100% sure if i haven’t altered the map somehow, but that should not explain the different instrument note mappings, right ?
Best
Ralf
