New releases and tons of deals – all centered around one of our favorite themes: rock! Power up your songwriting toolbox!
Hey Everyone!
This is my first post in this forum. I am noob to EZDrummer and pretty much everything else regarding home recording. So my question may seem obvious but I cannot figure out a way to address this issue.
I purchased EZDrummer from the toontrack website, dowloaded its latest version, authorized it, and installed it. When using it both in Garageband ’09 it work fine under the Pop/Rock Kit. However, when I try switching to the EZX Cocktail kit, the kit won’t load and I get the following message:
“EZDrummer cannot find the sound files!
Reinstall EZX “Cocktail EZX” or move its sounds to:
/Library/Application Support/EZDrummer/Sounds”
The problem is that I don’t know how to do either of these things I’m being asked to do; I also tried dowloading the latest update for the EZX_Cocktail from “my downloads” and nothing. Can someone please help me? I understand that the EZX Cocktail it supposed to come free with EZDrummer. Also, I’d like to buy the Metalheads EZX and Electronic EZX but I’m holding off from it because I’m afraid of buying them and not being able to use them.
Thank you!
PS: I am using a 13″ Macbook Pro with Mac OS Snow leopard.
Hi,
did you run the separate Cocktail EZX Installer?
Without doing this, the EZX can’t be loaded and neither can the updater run.
BR,
John
