I just installed the newest update of EzPlayer pro. I load everything up in Cubase, point the EZplayer to output to superior and get no sounds at all. It doesn’t matter if I am auditioning a loop or dragging loops to the tracks. -nothing. If I play midi through the ez player midi channel, it plays through just fine and I hear superior so I know ez player is set up to feed superior correctly. It just isn’t playing back any midi. It shows the little transport bar moving when I audition a loop, but I get nothing. I even fed ez drummer into a huge Battery kit spread across the whole keyboard to see if it was triggering anything, and nothing. Help? Probably user error, but I am stumped. I don’t remember struggling to get EZplayer to work in the past. Thanks
Please check the attached Cubase Template, I just tried it and it works for me.

Thank you John!! Worked like a charm. I only had to take one look at it to realize my problem. User error as I feared. Do you ever have one of those days when you are banging your head up against a wall trying to figure out a problem, and then you come back later and the answer is just staring you in the face? That was kind of the deal here. I would try to explain my bone-headed mistake, but it isn’t worth wasting your time. I was kind of using a superfluous midi channel, and thinking of it as an instrument channel. I have no idea why since I NEVER use instrument channels and only use midi channels with instruments loaded into the instrument rack. I guess that’s what 5 hours of sleep in the past two days gets ya! Thank you so much for the light bulb moment! 🙂
