Hi
i previously asked this question: http://www.toontrack.com/forum/m.aspx?m=98170
But I’m maybe a little unsure of a couple of things still, and I’m about to buy the software soon, so sorry if I’m being a dumb a$$, but I need to make sure I’m not wasting my money as I’m just a hobbyist and wont be making money from any of this… at the moment 🙂
Q1: if I’m using EZPlayer Pro with SD2.0 or EZDrummer’s midi grooves, and I want to control Reason’s redrum or any other reason device that can receive midi notes and play drum samples in response to those midi notes…. is that one way how I can use EZPlayer Pro? i.e. would I load a groove (or edit some to create my own) in EZPlayer Pro then select that it needs to be in a compatible mode for reason, then will ezplayer pro effectively be a midi device (instead of a midi drum kit) playing the notes with reason being the sound bank playing the drum sounds in response to those notes?
Q2: I’m sure it’s fine, but just to check… if later on I decide to release an album on itunes (yep, this is a BIG if), are all the ez drummer and SD2.0 sound samples and grooves royalty free, or would I have to contact toontrack and pay them a royalty fee?
Cheers
