    1) Inserting the plugin:

[*]Open Devices > VST Instruments and insert EZplayer Pro

    2) Setting up:

[*]Insert Superior 2 in the project as described above
[*]Create a MIDI track and set the Output to Superior 2
[*]Set the Input of this MIDI track to EZplayer Pro
[*]In EZplayer, choose the appropriate MIDI Output format for Superior 2
[*]Select a groove in EZplayer and press Play

So, if one wants to make use of the Arranger but use the Superior Drummer kits, they have to set it up this way? Doesn’t EZ Player Pro integrate with Superior Drummer the way it does with EZ Drummer? It would sure be nice to just open Superior Drummer and have access to the Arranger.

How do you mean? The Superior 2 plugin has got a Groove browser, like EZdrummer (well, actually a bit improved), but neither has room for the EZplayer Pro specific functions like e.g. converting MIDI on the fly, Arranging MIDI on several tracks and MIDI Out.

Thanks for the reply. I just meant that in EZ Drummer, you can launch EZ Player Pro and see the Groove browser as well as the Arranger window below. When you launch Superior Drummer, you see only the Groove browser. Why is that?

Why can’t you load EZplayer along side S2 like you can load EZplayer along side EZdrummer?

Because I would prefer to load the minimum number of plug-ins to make resources available for other plug-ins and programs. Was it just too difficult to integrate it with Superior Drummer the way it is with EZ Drummer?

…Also, it would make for a simpler workflow.

    ? Now you lose me…
EZplayer Pro is not integrated into EZdrummer. EZdrummer has got an even simpler Groove Browser than Superior 2.
Please describe your workflow with EZdrummer and EZplayer Pro so I can understand better. Or are you referring to using EZdrummer “standalone” with Toontrack solo and that the EZplayer Pro plugin in this case, simply loads and is auto-connected when you click the ‘play’ button in Toontrack solo?
It does the same way with Superior 2 in Toontrack solo but in any other host, you set it up like described.
