Hi,
EZplayer Pro doesn’t work normal in Logic X (here). I mean, no Midi Signal comes out,he’s not triggering any Instrument. All other functions are o.K. In Logic X from some other asked Users it works fine
I don’t know what happens here and why is this bug…? I’ve only installed the new Logic for a week, then loading the EZplayer Pro and nothing happens……In my old Logic 9 all runs fine.
Has anybody an idea?
edit
When I’m loading the EZ Player in Logic 9 he’s showing at the physical input in the Environment – In Logic X he’s not showing there after loading. I think thats it, but what can I do?
regards
this seems to be an issue with CoreMIDI in Maverick (Mac OS 10.9). To ‘fix’, after setting EZplayer pro in Logic, open ‘Audio MIDI Setup’ and create a new MIDI device… that usually prompts AMS to communicate with open applications to publish the new device and, if you’re lucky, it will also acquire (and re-broadcast) the EZplayer outputs.
EDIT: and if you are not running Mac OS 10.9, then the bug sits in Logic X – either way the above *should* help.
