EZPlayer and EZkeys Able to Play Together

It sure would be nice to have Ezplayer and EzKeys to play together. What I mean is EzPlayer is a Midi player but maps any imported midi to drum patterens. If one of the tracks could have any midi file and NOT map to a drum then you could audition midi keys with midi drums to find the right fit all in one place. Making for EZPeazy. If there is a way to do this already Help!

can set the EZplayer Track to Thru, which doesn’t wrap the MIDI at all.

I tried what you suggested and set track 1 to thru and loaded a piano midi track from EZKeys and it just plays drums. So I still seem to be missing something of having midi piano play on one track and drums on another.

If you hear drums, the MIDI out from EZplayer is not directed to the MIDI Input of EZkeys. Please review your connections in your DAW.

I guess I have misunderstood what EZplayer is. I thought it could play any midi file on my computer without opening or using a DAW. In reading your web material before buying that is what I understood and what I am looking for. I want to be able to use EZDrummer and EZKeys together to arrange songs to play live with Guitar, without having to also have a DAW open. I’ll keep looking.
