Hi.
I installed the 64 BIT version of my SD 2.0 . But is it right, that a 64 BIT version of EZ Player doesnt exist yet?
Indeed, no 64 bit version of EZPlayer yet. Cant give you an ETA either.

I saw in another thread it will be may at the earliest
I7 2.67Ghz/ 9 Gig / Win 7 / Sonar Pro X2 / Octa-capture / Sup 2.0 /Ezdrummer / EZPlayer
Is this why I can’t even complete the authorization process??? before I can even try to get it to work???
I keep getting an error that says i have the wrong # or something to that effect….
Can anyone help me out??
Hi,
A not so wild guess is that you are using the same authorization code for Superior to authorize in EZplayer pro. Each product has an unique authorization code. First of all, you need to register your EZplayer pro serial to your account and then repeat the authorization producere, as you did with both EZdrummer and Superior.

wouldn’t using a jBridge type of bridger defeat the purpose of employing an x64 version of Superior or EZdrummer? my VST scanner doesn’t even display my 32 bit versions of my Toontrack drum software.
HOPEFULLY, when EZ Player Pro is in fact updated for an x64 environment, the ability to edit individual MIDI notes/events is built into it. i would use that software all the time if it weren’t so strict
I recently purchased and downloaded EZDrummer. I saw on the requirements “Windows XP SP3 or newer” and it slipped by me that x64 (is newer) might not have support yet. Any way, couldnot install it on Windows x64 anyway it di not work. However, I did find a new beta patch for x64 in the download area. I have installed it and EZDrummer is working fine as a vst plug in in Sonar 8.5 x64 ( no Stand Alone support yet, biut I’m only using as a plug in at this point anyway).
So, my questin is…will the Latin Percussion add-on also work within this same beta patch? The samples sound great and I would like to buy and use the latin samples too, but didn’t find a specific patch for the Latin Percussion. Don’t know if I should risk it here and have to wait.

I’ll post if I run into problem areas
Thanks in advance if anoney can point me in the right direction on the Latin Percussion module x64.

Yes. The sound libraries are 100% platform independent so it is irrelevant to your environment, what counts is the engine they are hosted in.

Hi,
just wondering if there is any update on when the 64 bit EZPlayer might be available and
is it in the development stage yet?

yes, it will be released this summer, I would say a matter of weeks but I like to leave doors open when I’m skating in the mansion 😉

Hi Rogue,
thanks for the update. I have uninstalled EZPlayer as it cropped up in my cubase error
log after a rare cubase crash. Will look forward to the 64 bit hope it runs as sweetly as SD2
64 from the get go.
Cheers

Just in case you don’t know, you can still use all of the MIDI that came with your Toontrack software despite not being able to audition it first in ezplayer. In cubase, for example, just drag and drop your MIDI files into the Superior Drummer track from their directory and it will play. It lacks the convenience of first auditioning in ezplayer, but the MIDI runs just as well (I’m not sure about mapping though for other drum software).
ezplayer is handy, but its not essential for playing your drum MIDI if you can’t get it to run.
Hope that helps – and sorry if I’m stating the obvious!

You can also use the Groove browser in the latest S2 64-bit beta to audition the Toontrack MIDI.
