Just authorized ez mix2 from stand-alone. Ok. But, neither Presonus STudio One nor Reaper sees the plugin. And the location it resides, the EZmix 1 is a .dll file, EZmix2 does not have that ext. Any advice?

If you click on the ‘Help’ menu in the EZmix2 standalone and click the ‘Show Plug-in Path’, do you have your Studio One or Reaper set to find the plugin in that location?

Are you saying that you had ‘EZmix (Toontrack)’ in your Reaper VST section but now it is no longer there since you did the upgrade?
I’m not sure what version of Reaper you are using but in the version I run (4.15) there is a button under Options->Preferences->Plugins->VST for rescanning. Try clicking the ‘Rescan’ or ‘Clear cache/re-scan’ button.

Reaper found it. Can’t figure out Studio One. It’s pointed to the folder, but no go.
From the Studio One manual:
To add any missing VST plug-ins to Studio One, navigate to the Studio
One/Options/Locations/VST Plug-ins (Mac OS X: Preferences/Options/Locations/VST Plug-ins)
menu and click on the Add button, then specify a location and click OK. You can also dragand-
drop any folder from the Explorer/Finder into the Locations list. Studio One will then scan these locations at startup, including searching for new plug-ins you’ve added. You can always add more locations if needed.

Yes, That’s exactly what I’ve done, the folders are in the list, but when I try to add ezmix to a trk., it’s not there. I will try again!!! Thanks for looking that up anyway. New computer, little bugs.
Have you tried to Reset Blacklist in Studio One? Navigate to Studio One/Options/Locations/VST Plug-ins and click on Reset Blacklist. Then restart Studio One.

Yep, ugh. Ezmix is in the same VST folder as many others but, it doesn’t show. Might be telling me to go w/ Reaper, eh?
Yeah, I don’t have any experience with Studio One so maybe a query over at the Presonus forum or contact them directly may be required.

Does it show up in the blacklist of plug-ins? (You should see the list at startup)… and have you reset the blacklist to force a rescan?

Yes. at start up I can see that it scans plugins. I just tried to reopen S1, and I get a message that it’s not registered, but it is. I may have to persue this issue w/ Presonus. Don’t want to waste your time.
I would like to add that EZmix 2 shows up just fine for me in Studio One on both Mac and PC. So if you find the right help, probably from PreSonus, there’s no reason they shouldn’t be able to get you up and running.

I am having the same issues as above, Reaper (v6.32) does not see EZMix2 or EZDrummer2 (not sure if it is supposed to see the drummer). I have tried as suggested above…

but it did not work. Really need help here as i am out of my depth and going nuts over it!!
