Hi Forum!
Here is a big, new issue with my EZMix 2 and my DAW. When I start to work with my Audio workstation which runs with Cubase 9.5 Pro, I trun off the NIC (via Windows Adapter settings > disable). This is best practice as LAN/NIC have a negative impact to audio performance.
Just recently I noticed that my EZMix 2 is not loaded in my projects in this situation. Once I re-add the plugin it pops-up with the license request, giving me the option to login with my account details or do an offline authorization. This is of course nonsens, as my product is licenced and my computer is activated.
Once I turne on my NIC again, everything is fine. But again, why is an Internet connection a must after authorization? This is annyoing!
Hope this can be sorted out. I am also not willing to try another offline registration, as my system shows as activated in the Toontrack manager.
Regards
Sascha

An internet connection isn’t required once you authorize EZMix. I just disabled my WI-FI and was able to start EZMix with no issue.
Regarding you comment on NIC affects audio performance. That has to do with other programs (services) that run in the background and do things like checking for updates thru the internet. You should figure out which one or more of those services are doing that and stop them from doing that.
On my Mac I have Little Snitch, this app tells me who’s doing that and I can disable all connections from doing anything in the background.
