EZMix Installation corrupted – "No presets could be loaded"

Hello everyone !

I can’t seem to make EZMix work on my computer. It’s a W8 laptop.
I download and install it through the Toontrack Product Manager, but when I launch it, there’s a error message saying “No presets could be loaded. You may need to reinstall EZMix”.

I obviously tried to uninstall et reinstall it : No success. I tried to change the administrator rights on the Toontrack folder : No chance either.

Can you advise me on how to solve this situation?

Operating system: Windows 8.1

Do you have anything in C:\ProgramData\Toontrack\EZmix\Presets? The issue could be that you don’t have read permissions in that location.

Does it work if you run EZmix (or your DAW) as administrator?

Dear Olof,

Thank you for pointing the EZMix folder to me. I don’t know why but this folder (inside ProgramData, to be precise) was blocked, like I didn’t had the administrator rights on it, but there was no account administrating it…

Luckily, I changed the administrator, and as soon as I did, the plug-in appeared and I was able to make EZMix work perfectly fine.
