    Hi,

which audio interface are you using?

Is it correctly set up in the Audio Setup in the EZmix 2 Settings?

    BR,
    John

    Hi John, thanks for responding.

I’m using a Audient ID4 interface and yes it is set for audio in and out in EZMix settings. In fact I can record audio with the plugin version in the DAW (Logic pro 10.4.6).

The issue is with the standalone app that doesn’t receive audio signal

    best regards

    pat

    OK,

well, I am on OS 10.14.6 with EZmix 2.1.5 and have no problems with my interfaces in the standalone, including the built-in microphone on my MBP.

Did you check the latest software and firmware over here?: https://audient.com/products/audio-interfaces/id44/downloads/

If you already did, my advice right now would be to contact Toontrack Support directly via any FAQ page. I can’t answer if there is something specific with your interface or not.

    John

    Hi,

has there been a solution? I’m having the same problem with EZMix and Mojave (10.14.6): no input signal and thus no sound in standalone mode.

It doesn’t matter what audio interface I use (tried it with iConnectAudio4+ and iRigHD, both work well with EZMix on my MacbookPro!).

Now, I just found out, that EZMix is not listed as an app under System Preferences/Security & Privacy/Privacy/microphone where you grant and revoke microphone access to applications under MAC OS Mojave. (Note: under Sierra on my MacBookPro this list is not available).

Now, Reaper and GarageBand are listed and the boxes for microphone access are ticked. So, I reckon, that’s why input for EZMix as PlugIn in Reaper and GarageBand has no problems while as standalone it has.

The question is: How do I add another application (i.e. EZMix) to the microphone access dialog? This seems to be impossible. Any other app I installed, that uses Microphone (like Amplitube 4, BIAS FX, Overloud TH-U etc. is listed here, but EZMix is not.

Has anyone got any idea howe to fix this? Can anyone who has EZMix standalone working under MACOS 10.14.6 check under privacy settings whether or not EZMix is listed in microphone access list?

    Thanks!

    Kind regards

    Oliver

    Hi Oliver,

That was a temporary issue (since mid-December until yesterday, I believe). Please redownload EZmix 2.1.5 and run the installer. That should fix it.

    Hi Olof,

thank you. I did as you wrote and it worked.

Upon first start of EZMix Standalone it asked for access to microphone and under Priviledges & Security the app is now listed.

    Cheers

    Oliver
