EZmix Amps Settings

Hi,

Is the Amp setting in EZmix an actual amp with a cab and FX or a FX mix applied to your amp plugin in your daw to run through?

Do you require Toontrack Amps package to use with EZmix to use the EZmix Amps mixes?

Hi,

 

short answer: Yes, it’s an Amp with a Cab w or w/o FX.

You have got pretty many Amp+Cab presets in the core EZmix2 presets pack, so there’s no requirement to buy the Amps presets pack. Though I don’t think you will regret having it, if it’s an option for you to buy it.

Hi John,
Thanks for your reply, I have a Line 6 Helix that I use for live and recording so I wanted to understand how to use the mixing effects with my Helix in Logic Pro 10 rather than using another amp/cab sim. I did purchase the JTC amp pack as well and I’m loving the EZmix 2 and JTC packs, you’re products and great and so helpful.
