Hi all, just installed EZMix 2 for the first time onto my system (Win 7 64 / Cubase 7.51). First thing I noticed is that the default plugin path suggested by the installer (common files/VST 3) does not allow the plugin to work correctly (EZMIx 2 plugin shown as vendor “Steinberg”), beside having to add a path so that Cubase can see the plugin. The easy solution is to install it to another path where there is a path to set in Cubase. Now the plugin is shown with the vendor name “Toontrack”. Should that not be changed by Toontrack? Sure does not seem well thought through at the first impression. Am I overlooking something here? My question now is: My Axe-Fx digital output is set at 48 kHz so I run all my projects at 48 kHz. I noticed that whenever I start the standalone application (set to my second interface), the interface is forced into 44.1 kHz and I have not found any place to change the sample rate in EZMix 2. Is 44.1 kHz a default in the app that cannot be changed? That would be disappointing. Even though I would typically use the VST in Cubase (where the sample rate problem does not exist) this would preclude me from being able to use the standalone app (as both interface would need to run at the same sample rate in order to communicate via ADAT, in my case 48 kHz). Any thought would be appreciated!!
