Hello!
I have just bought and installed EZmix2 with the 6 pack bundle.
I use an ALESIS MultiMix 4 USB pad as my 16bit external sound card and recording device.
I have set it up according to the instruction manual. It records and plays back audio without any problem.
I have then installed REAPER. When i record guitar directly into a reaper track, there is no latency.
Then I installed EZmix2, updated it to the latest version and registered it on Toontrack.
In the Audio settings, i selected Windows DirectSound, the Input and Output devices set both to ALESIS USB and the Buffer size to 1024.
The Input Latency is 0.0ms
Output Latency: 139.3ms
Buffer Latency: 23.2ms
When i try other Buffer sizes, the Output latency never drops below 120ms, even on 64 mode.
When i use EZmix in REAPER, the same problem persists, when the plugin is active.
My computer specs are: Windows Vista 32bit, 2ghz duo processor, 3GB of ram, with the 16bit ALESIS sound card
Please, can anyone tell me how to fix the latency?
I would recommend installing the ASIO drivers from the Alesis website. Check the Docs & Downloads section.

You’ll want to use a buffer lower than 128 samples for best low latency performance.
