EZMix 2 effects not heard when Recording

I upgraded to EZMix2 and am having a problem with using the new amp simulators as an insert effect if that’s the correct term.

I plug my electric guitar into my UA25-EX Hi channel with Hi Z button depressed. Make sure phantom power is off. In HS7XL I Insert an audio track, set input and output to the UA25EX, add effect EZMix2, select a guitar amp or any effect for that matter but I can only hear the effect on Playback not when I Record. Makes it hard to get an appropriate guitar sound for the song

What am I doing wrong?

I also posted this question on the Sonar HS forum in-case it’s a Cakewalk issue.

By the way EZMix2 sounds incredible.

It may be out of date for your version of Sonar but it may point you in the right direction.

It was my error, I didn’t have the “Input Echo” button selected in Sonar. Greg at the Cakewalk forum set me straight.

I have to say you guys really outdid yourselves with this upgrade. It’s fantastic.
