On Win64/Win10-EZKeys, I create a small project using the stand-alone app.
Then I create a ProTools (ver. 12.7.1) with EZKeys inserted on an instrument track and import the small project I created under the stand-alone app.
The imported project does NOT reflect the tempo, time signature or key, but rather assumes the PT project is correct.
Also, if I change the EZKeys project and save it, that project is no longer accessible using the EZKeys standalone.
IMHO, that’s not exactly “seamless integration”, so I guess the question would be: Is that the INTENDED/To-Be-Expected functioning of EZKeys + ProTools?
TIA.
Dave
Hi,
the plugin cannot control the host’s Tempo or Time signature, that’s just the way it is.
I will have to look into the other problem with loading a plugin saved Project in the standalone.

John,
Were you able to look into the corruption of a stand-alone project that gets corrupted if you edit and save from within ProTools?
I’m working with PT 12.7.1 on Windows 10/64.
Thanks.
