EZKeys playing wrong instrument

Hi,

Im new to ezkeys (just bought today) and using in reaper. Ive got a couple of expansion packs and so far all is working great, apart from a strange thing…

When i drag midi out of ezkeys, and drop the file in the arrange window of my daw (i did this as i wanted to make a couple of tweaks to the performance), it plays the instrument it was originally played with when piecing the part together.

For example, i put a part together on the upright piano, then dragged the midi into the arrange window, made the tweaks and was fine. I then changed the instrument to the dream machine to try other sounds but it still plays the piano even though its not loaded?

Can anyone point me where im going wrong?

maybe you’re addressing some other piano through the DAWs track settings unknowingly?

Thatd be even stranger as the only vsts ive got thatd do that is ezkeys, i dont have anything else thatd do a piano, BUT im pretty new to reaper too so it wouldnt surprise me

However, i did look earlier on before heading to work, and i seem to have 3 instances of ezkeys loaded in my plugins section on the one track so i mustve done something weird when ive been playing around with it.

Another odd one, is my midi keyboard doesnt trigger ezkeys. When i press the keys on the keyboard i can see the track is getting a midi signal, but it wont play/trigger sounds from  Ezkeys. It does work with the sampler so i know it works in reaper on that. Anyone know how that should be set up?
