I recently upgraded my Macbook pro (mid 2015) to Mac OS Big Sur (11.4) and Pro Tools to 2019.3.1 Before I did either upgrade I uninstalled all of my plugins and VIs, including EZKeys, Superior Drummer 2, and EXBass. I wanted to clean my hard drive and make some room by locating libraries and samples to an external hard drive.
After the upgrades of the OS and Pro Tools, I also upgraded to Superior Drummer 3.0. Next, I installed EZKeys. I opened Pro Tools and created a new project, When I went to add EZKeys as a VI, on a stereo instrument track, EZKeys was not found. Neither was Toontrack Audio Sender. EZBass is found and so is Superior Drummer 3. Both EZBass and SD3 were added to the Pro Tools project and performed as expected.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks
I suspect that you might need to apply an update or two for EZKeys…
can you confirm that you applied ALL applicable updates available via the Toontrack Product Manager?
Also, when you run the latest update for the EZkeys Software Player, make sure to click the Customise button to check that the AAX box is ticked.
