EZKeys Midi Out stops being routed

Hello,

I want to route the midi out of EZKeys to another track/instrument on Cubase 14.

• Set Midi Out in settings->general of EZkeys 2
• Set the midi channel of the track/instrument to “EZKeys 2 – Midi Out”
• Play groove in Ezkey2 : It works

But… After some times it randomly stops working. I have to close the project and open it again to get it working again (Note:the instrument can still play notes if I use it, but it does not receive midi events from EZKeys2 anymore).

Any help? clue?

Hi,

When it is not working, look at the MIDI Out indicator in the lower right corner, does it still blink? And does it help to toggle MIDI Out off and on in EZkeys 2?

Thanks for the reply.

No the MIDI Out indicator does not blink anymore and toggling MIDI Out does not help…:-(

Oh… BTW I just noticed that it happens when I enable the “Show Webshop MIDI” button (not only on the web grooves but on all grooves). And it works again if I disable it…

That’s how it’s supposed to work – you need to disable Web Shop MIDI to use MIDI Out 🙂
