i´ve noticed a few times now, that the “blocks” that make up the song, aren´t allways completely connected!
i mean, when moving blocks around and so on, i´ve found small gaps between “blocks” a few times!
i´ve corrected this by moving them back and forth and then they are connected again, but i don´t think this is supposed to happen at all!?
if i make a song and there are a gaps like that in there, i guess that would be heard as small pauses and that´s not good!
This should be dependent on your zoom level; if you are zoomed out to whole Bars, it should be almost impossible to accidentally put something wrong on your track. If you are zoomed in to 16ths, it’s obviously easier.

i understand what you mean, but i´m talking about gaps that are smaller than the grid of the timeline and that shouldn´t be happening, right!?
if the blocks end up with gaps, those gaps should at least be lined up with the grid of the timeline!?
I haven’t seen that, is this with your own MIDI or with Toontrack MIDI?

i think it´s both actually!?
i don´t think there is anything wrong with the midi files, though!?
if i start moving those blocks around it happens every now and then!
if you want to try and make this happen, here´s what i did:
as i wrote about in another post, i´m having problems setting ezkeys to halfspeed (another post and another problem), so i decided to try to solve this by setting the tempo to half the size and cut every single block of the song in half!
after this was done, i had a song full of empty spaces between every block!
so i moved every block manually, to make them connect with the previous block and when that was done and i scrolled through the song to check if everything looked ok, i noticed these problems of several blocks that weren´t connected!
here is a screenshot, showing a small, but still visible gap, in the bottom row, where the red line points to!
and here is that actual gap (follow the red line), showing that the blocks are not connected as they should and the c chord is not lined up with the grid of the timeline!
compare it to the surrounding blocks that are clearly connected properly!
this is not a “one time issue”!
during this song, even though it strangly shows only one gap in the bottom row, as shown in the first image, i just worked with it and i had to manually correct about 20-30 of those kind of gaps, by dragging them slightly, until they connected to the following block!
I have the same problem…
When I move the files to ProTools Timeline the gaps disappear.
It´s impossible to use the timeline in the EZKeys browser more than 10 bars before it start losing the timing.
Is this a bug? I have no problem with the new browser in Easy Drummer 2, works perfectly.

I’ll let the development team know about this issue so that we can check it up again.

We will include a fix for this in the next update. It’s currently being tested and we will release it as soon as possible.
