EZKEYS as Standalone

Greetings. I’m new to EZKeys. After much research I decided on a software solution for recording and writing and purchased EKeys Studio Grand. Based on what I read, it was my understanding that in standalone mode you can access other VST’s for instrument sounds. In my case, Lounge Lizard EP-4 for electric piano sounds. Does EZKeys not allow this due to a closed architecture in standalone mode. Please inform me as to whether this is possible or not.

Not in Standalone mode, no. There is a MIDI out feature that allows sending the MIDI out to another VST instrument, but that needs to be done within a DAW.

Thank you Scott for you’re reply. That confirms my fears. I was hoping that EZKEYs would be my “DAW”.
