When using EZ Keys 2 MIDI out, to send the MIDI to another keyboard instrument track in Logic Pro, it works well. However, I have to have that second track selected for the process to work. Moreover, if I have another track, let’s say EZ Drummer, then the EZ Keys will trigger all sorts of unwanted drum sounds.
Is there a way to use MIDI out, assigning a specific track to always receive the MIDI, and only that track, even if it is not selected in the DAW?
If you’re using Logic Pro 11, set the internal MIDI channel on your target track to EZ Keys and then turn on the input monitoring on that track. You should then be able to select another track.
