    The VST3 is placed in

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

    Hi,

the EZkeys 2 plug-in is VST3, so turn on your system VST3 path in Ableton’s Plug-in Preferences.

I am using Reaper not Ableton. I checked the file path that Mikael Edlund gave me and it is correct.  Reaper still does not see it.

    EZkeys version: 1.3.4

    Hi,

sorry about that, I was checking a thing in Ableton for another user and crossed paths in my brain, apologies.

Did you try Re-scan in Reaper?

yes I cleared the cache and rescanned. No luck. is it possible that I have some bad file paths in Reaper preferences. I had a major issue in March when I replaced my PC. I actually lost my Arturia software and a tech somehow cleared the file paths and when rescanned that software came back but it still took another two weeks to figure out why EZKeys and EZDrummer 64 bit could not be found in Reaper. I may have entered bad file paths while trying to resolve that issue. That is now okay but I wonder if I need to clear the file paths to Reaper’s defaults. I have no idea how to do this or if it will mess up my other plugins.

Here are the file paths in Reaper. Have to run a few errands. Will check back later. Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

I would start with clearing all entries out and then begin with adding:

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

    C:\Program Files\VstPlugins\

    C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins

You’re not using 32-bit plug-ins on your system, right?

I am an idiot. I was checking the list and EZKeys shows up at the very end of the VST plugins. I thought it would be listed right after the original EZKeys . I never thought to scroll through as the original is a VSTi

Sorry to have wasted your time.

    Regards,

    Rich
