    Could it be…

Only a matter of hours now before we know for sure…

Why do you say ‘only a couple of hours’?

Toontracks Face book has been trackting a 4/3/23 release date.  From Chicago that is ~ 5 hours.

Edit: OK I just saw the one that says 2….

    Is it finally coming?????

To me the teaser looks like some sort of new sound expansion.  Especially with the emphasis on Grand.  Sorry guys,  I think you are setting yourselves up for another disappointment.

Oh my, I hope not. A lot of folks are counting on EZKeys 2.0 or maybe just EZkeys 3.0 – Superior Keys!  I don’t think I can handle a disappointment like that.  There are a number of forums blowing up on this…

Toontrack do not tend to use teasers like this for their expansions. I could be wrong but I certainly can’t recollect them doing anything of the sort for their most recent sound expansions for EZKeys.

I, along with most probably the whole EZKeys userbase, are hoping this is what we’ve been wanting and waiting for for so long. They’re going to have a LOT of disappointed customers if it isn’t.

If it is EZKeys 2, my primary wish is that it will work on my current operating system (which is quite a few years behind), and that the upgrade will include a keyboard of our choice, since I really want another one of the existing upright pianos and have not wanted to pay $89+ for it, which seems like a hefty price for an add-on keyboard.

Even better, a few different upgrade offers where we could pick several pianos for a great bundle price as part of the upgrade. I would probably choose an option with 3 new pianos for EZKeys 2 if the price wasn’t outrageous.

    Fingers crossed.

    Nah, it’s not an expansion.

Day’s half over in Sweden though, get a move on!

I hope they’re not going to drag it out to end of day US time.

We’re a global user base, 8.30pm for me in Tokyo already.

I placed my pre-order.  Does anyone recall how previous new versions have rolled out?   Is it possible to keep both old and new installed?  After all these years I have the EZKey workflow down to a science.  Although I welcome new I don’t want to lose anything from the old.

I know I have EZD 2 still running alongside my EZD 3 upgrade, so I assume so.

*I realize I shoulda *replied instead of new post, sorry 🙂

EZKeys and EZKeys 2 will be able to coexist. This is particularly important for DAW sessions where you have used the original EZKeys.
