I’ve searched the forum and found a few variations of this issue buy nothing definitive that helps solve the exact issue I’m having.
I have installed EZ Drummer 1 from the product manager application but it only seems to have the 32 bit dll available in the VST folder.
From the program folders, there is an exe to update the 64 bit version which I run but still no 64 bit dll to be found (I’ve extensively searched the system)
Has anyone experienced this and what are the exact steps you took to resolve?
If all else fails I’ll just have to downgrade my Cubase version…

Thanks Scott, that’s exactly what I have done but as I said, I’m unable to find the 64 bit version of the dll.
I’m running Windows 10 and the update does state it is for XP to 8 only so this may be the issue?
Worst case scenario is, I downgrade Cubase back to 10.5 but I’d rather not as surely the 64 bit version is hiding somewhere….
When you ran the 64-bit installer shown in that thread, what happened? Did the installer run to completion? Did you get an error massage? Does Program Manager indicate it was installed or did it show there is still an update?
If it did actually install, do a windows search for the ezdrummer.dll and you should then see 2. One in C:\Program Files (64-bit location) and one in C:\Program Files (x86) (32-bit location). If there is only the 32-bit version, are you logged in as administrator?
