Trying to create drums with Bandmate, and it sounds great and in time in standalone EZDrummer application. But once I export those drums and bring them onto the Reaper timeline, they are so slightly off and I can’t figure out why. I try to nudge them into place, but I can’t seem to get it right. I have tried setting my buffer to 64 in Reaper, and that doesn’t seem to work. They only sound correct in the EZDrummer application. I wish there was a way to export the Source track and drums into one file from EZDrummer, it would solve everything for me. But I still want to know why I am getting the slightest lag in Reaper?
Not on the EZDrummer track, no. I have maybe 15 other tracks of guitars and vocals though that are using Amplitube and the bass track, which is actually a guitar for now pitched down (until I can grab a real bass) is using RealPitch plugin.
Whats my workaround? I need EZDrummer to be in time in Reaper. When I render the song from Reaper, its still not in time. What shall I do?
Zoom all of the way in to the drum audio file waveforms. Are the transients of the beat actually off or on the grid? You need to confirm what is actually out of sync here.
I assume your drums are .wav or aiff files and not a compressed audio files.

Why aren’t you using EZdrummer inside of Reaper as a plugin?
I don’t have an answer, but my questions may help you resolve it yourself.

Ah, I should have mentioned that I also tried using EZDrummer inside Reaper as a plugin as well, and I get the same result. I also have looked at the waveforms from the exported drums, and they look on time but when comparing to EZDrummer standalone, they just sound completely different and not as tight.
You exported audio files from EZDrummer and imported into Reaper. They align with the grid. EZdrummer is not the problem. You should state you PC specs, maybe your system just can’t handle your session as Mick is suggesting.
