I have been using EZdrummer 1 for many years on my Mac pro quad core, 8 gig ram, Logic pro 9 with Mountain Lion then Snow Leopard with no problems. Always been a bit power hungry but worked fine.
I now have Mavericks installed with EZDrummer 2 and all the time the CPU level on Logic is hitting crazy peaks, and Logic stops. Remove EZdrummer and all works ok?

Hi,
I haven’t seen this. Which version of EZdrummer is reported in the plugin interface?
Which exact version of Logic are you using?

Well, from your logs it seems like you have downloaded the Full product for EZdrummer 2 but not the 2.0.1 update, so I suggest we start there; please download and install the 2.0.1 update (and the Sound Library update).

FWIW, I installed and tried Mavericks, but found it to be such a bogged down OS, I reinstalled my drive with ML on it and am going to wait for Yosemite. Too many issues with mavericks for my taste.
Gpod luck!
I have downloaded updates and checked I was running in 64bit mode in Logic. which I am.
CPU is still constantly 50-60pc in meter?

Hi,
what are your Project Settings? HW Buffer size, sample rate…?

Hi John
Buffer Size 256
24 bit
44.1Khz
No other applications running.
Internet security off and Wi-Fi disconnected.
This set up is as it always has been with no problems until recently.

Hi Peter,
can’t say I’ve run the Logic 9.1.8 + Mavericks Combo, I run Logic Pro X in Mavericks. I had Mountain Lion when I was on Logic 9.1.8 and never saw any high CPU consumption, at least not with one instance @44,1kHz.
Is it giving you any problems or is it just that you are bothered by the CPU meters being high?

Constantly stops and message disc too slow appears!
Power computer down and reboot it might run ok.

Could you please perform a Reset & Rescan of the EZdrummer 2 plugin in the AU Manager and then post me a screen shot with the plugin interface open while running?

Hi
I need some help, I have bought a lot of Toontrack programs from you over the years. Now I want to use it with my Ableton Live 11 program. Ableton won’t read it and I can’t make it a VST deterrent.
What’s up, have a recent PC and am composing a lot of music. Haven’t been able to use Toontrack except for listening? What to do. I have permission for everything and paid for it myself.
