EZDrummer2 Crashes in FLStudio

I just installed FL Studio 20.5 build 1142. And I can’t get EZDrummer 2 (EZdrummer plug-in version 2.1.8 (build 21073) [64-bit VST]) to load. I attached the message & the dmp file. I opened a new project and did a replace on the first pattern & selected EZD. Then I get the failure.

I have EZKeys installed and that works fine.

I am running Win 7 Pro 64bit/32g ram.

Has the ezdrummer.dll been manually moved since it was first installed? Your dump file screenshot shows version 2.1.1 and not 2.1.8

Yeah, for some reason it was looking at the 32bit version (here:C:\Program Files (x86)\VstPlugins) that was older. All the correct plugins are here: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST2.

I removed the old file and it works sort of. FL Studio won’t open the interface so I can’t access the midi or settings. Probably something I’ll need to take up with FL support. Unless you have any suggestions?

Yeah, I don’t use FL so I’m not sure what to suggest there.

Hi,

 

if I were you, I’d go into the Plug-In Manager in FL Studio and remove the 32-bit search path unless you desperately need a plugin that only exists in 32-bit.

Then I would check both ‘Rescan’ buttons and click ‘Find’, to make sure FL Studio rescans the EZdrummer 2 plug-in.
