Ezdrummer2 causing crash on cubase

I had the demo version and recently bought the full version, after installing the new version I went ahead and uninstalled the demo version. Now my projects wont open up because ezdrummer is causing a crash. How can I work around this I have no access to any of the project because they wont open in result of the ezdrummer crashing.

Cubase shouldn’t crash if projects with uninstalled plugins are opened.

Have you manually moved/copied the EZdrummer 2 Demo DLL file to the Cubase VST path? This can be an issue, since when you uninstall the EZdrummer 2 demo, the DLL file isn’t removed (since it has been manually moved).

If this is the case, look in the path where Cubase searches for VST plugins and delete the EZdrummer 2 Demo.

I got the first problem solved but now ezcrummer2 or ezmix2 wont show up and I can not find the dll file anywere!

• Try to reinstall the EZdrummer 2 software
• Make sure that Cubase is using the VST plugin path where EZdrummer 2 DLL is placed.
  • E.g., don’t move the DLLs, that will cause problems for you in the future – for example when removing or updating the software

Does this solve the problem for you? If it does, do the same thing with EZmix.
