Hi!
I’ve just bought EZDrummer, installed it and it works wonderfully, but I’m having a problem getting my Cubase LE4 sequencer to recognise the drum sounds from EZDrummer. The VST plug-in doesn’t appear to be compatble – is it because EZDrummer doesn’t like GM drum maps, which is what this version of Cubase has?
I’m a novice to plugins so not 100% sure I know what I’m doing! Please could someone let me know, step by step how to get my Cubase to recoginse EzDrummer?! I drag & drop the loop from EZ to Cubase and it will only play back as keyboard notes – Cubase doesn’t give me any other playback options other than Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth. I’m stuck!
Or if there’s a better (cheap) sequencer to use I’d be happy!
Cheers, AJ
When you’re creating your Instrument Track for EZdrummer, are you selecting EZdrummer from the Instrument list? See the Cubase LE4 manual page 142 for details on how to load EZdrummer. If EZdrummer is not in the Instrument list, you need to make sure you’ve set the path in Cubase to where you installed EZdrummer.
