EZDRUMMER TRANSPORT ( PLAY and STOP ) MIDI LEARN

Can not get the transport controls to learn MIDI,

Cubase 9.5

EZD 2

Behringer X Touch Mini

Korg Nano Pad

I just want to control the Stop and Play Functions by tapping on something, Keyboard or a Pad or Button, Tired of using a Mouse,

Everything else I can set to Midi Learn and it functions, Encoders, Rotary Knobs, etc etc

Just want to assign the play function to a midi controller…….simple right ?

I right Click – Click Midi Learn – then try to assign to a button or key or pad and nothing will happen,

I have the same issue. When I use Midi learn, nothing happens and the button does not get assigned.

EZdrummer version: 2.1.8
Operating system: Windows 10

Hi frberger,

What we have to do is place the track with ezd2 in record mode and have our MIDI controller selected for input.

I always forgot that one…

Flat out does not work…..

and no Help > About menu option to get version info.

Hi,

please see attached screen shot, you can spot the version number both in the MENU>About EZdrummer and the lower right corner of the interface.

What exactly does not work? Right-clicking and selecting ‘MIDI Learn’? Which MIDI message are you trying to Learn?
