Hope someone can shed light on this… Just switched computers and have re-installed EZDrummer2 on a MacPro running Logic Pro 9 under OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard). When I access EZD2 as an Audio Unit in Logic, the window opens showing the virtual drum kit view, but then I get a message saying it’s running under 32 bit mode and that memory is low. There was not option to choose between 32 and 64 bit versions in the installer. I ran the installer and all the updates twice, just to check. I never got this message on the old iMac that I used to run it on (also under Snow Leopard). Do I need to uninstall this version and install a specifically 64 bit version. Is that possible? Or have I done something stupid. All suggestions gratefully received!
When installing on Mac, both 32 and 64 bit versions are installed. Are you running Logic Pro 9 in 32 or 64 bit? You can check that in the “About Logic Pro” in the application menu.
