Hi guys,
I’m fairly new to music production and so I’m trying to avoid a major investment everytime I purchase a new plug-in (for the time being anyways).
That being said, I’m looking into getting the PoP Punk kit you guys offer, but I’m a tad confused on which products I need to make the kit work.
Are the EZDrummer or Superior Drummer the only plug-ins I can run your MIDI packs on, so that to make use of the PoP Rock MIDI kit I would have to purchase the kit plus one of the above plug-ins?
Is the PoP Punk EDX kit just an expansion for the EZDrummer, so the same as before I would still have to purchase the base EZDrummer to run the kit? (I’m assuming it enables and allows for more of an in depth manipulation of the sounds available in the MIDI kit?)
Thank you for your answer beforehand.
Correct. It breaks down like this:
Our drum samplers: EZD2 and S3
Sound Expansion packs: EZX and SDX
EZXs can be used in EZD2 AND S3
SDXs can only run in S3
Both EZXs and SDXs contain drum kit sounds as well as MIDI grooves.
Toontrack Drum MIDI packs contain only MIDI and work with both EZD2 and S3.
