Hello everyone,
I wonder if you can help me. When I open my DAW – SONAR X1 Producer- I’m getting the following error with regards to EZdrummer 1. I can open SONAR but I have to disable EZdrummer otherwise I cant open it.
Plug-in caused an error during load.
The failure point was reported as – open.
Likely causes for this error are:
The plug-in is not installed correctly.
Your computer is low on memory or other resources.
There is a problem with the plug -in’s copy protection.
The plug-in is incompatible with the application.
I’ve been using EZdrummer 1 for about three years and I’ve never had any problems with it. As it seems to be specifically EZdrummer that’s causing the problem I thought I’d try here first before pursuing other options. As well as using SONAR X1 Producer I’m also using an RME Fireface UC audio interface and Windows 10.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Mike
What version number is on the EZD interface? Is it 64-bit or 32-bit? Same question about Sonar. 64-bit or 32-bit?
Keep in mind that EZD has been discontinued for over two years and hasn’t been tested on Windows 10 at all.

Both are 64 bit. I just installed Windows 10 a few weeks ago. It has been Okay up until now.
What version number is displayed on the EZD interface inn the lower right corner.

Scott,
I don’t know. I cant open SONAR without disabling EZdrummer.
If I choose enable SONAR just crashes.
