EZdrummer Lite – problem with extracting/installing

The Alladin self extracting archive gives an error part way...

The Alladin self extracting archive gives an error part way through execution:
“yo::directory exception: cannot create C:Documents and SettingsDesktop\TT106L_EZdrummer_Lite_WinInstallprogram filesToontrackEZdrummerMidi01@EZP_FREE_MIDI2@EZX_DRUMKIT_FROM_HELL|30@GRIND_&_BLAST_BEATS_(1#16_Triplet)4@GROOVE_040@_INSTRUMENT_VARIATIONS.”

but creates installation folders and files.

During installation of EZdrummer Lite after extraction, it begins producung error code 1308 and 1309
“Error 1308.Source file not found: C:Documents and Settings …. 1._Hats_-_Open_1.mid. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.”

I have tried downloading the archive several times from Korg and Toontrack and executing from several locations, including the root of C:. Always the same result.

I re extracted it using a diffent programme i downloaded…it extracted ok then on the install i get error code 1308 this time.

SOLVED ****************

The extract path was too long for windows extractor

Extract files to c: (or whatever drive) and it will extract correctly. This will alleviate the install problems also, as no files were skipped during extract.

I’ve just solved the problem of getting a 1308 error on my PC Windows 7.

The error came up with both trying to install from the DVD and online. Instead of trying to install from the DOWNLOADS folder (having downloaded it from toontracks), I copied the file to my desktop and installed from that folder. It worked Yay!
