I just bought a new Apple Macbook Pro and have OSX Lion installed.
Is EZDrummer compatible with Lion?
I have read complaints on other forums that EZDrummer won’t install on Lion, that
it produces “can’t install to /Library/” errors, or more specifically “can’t install to /Library/Plug-ins/VST” errors.
Please advise.
Thank you.

since no-one responded I’m going to find out the hard way.
I bought a copy of EZD from Amazon.
If it doesn’t work with Lion I’ll send it back for a refund.
cheers,

I don’t use a Mac so I can’t comment from experience but the current version of EZdrummer was released before Lion was released so official support won’t happen until the next version of EZdrummer. You are welcome to try the current version of EZD with Lion though.

Here’s a quote from Rogue when asked about S2 and Lion compatibility. The same would be true for EZdrummer:
‘We will only officially support Mac OS 10.7 starting with the next version due out later this summer, but in the meantime all our tests give me confidence there is no issue with the current version, so if you must upgrade to Lion on your production machine it should be a safe exercise.
As always, we don’t recommend ‘upgrading’ a previous OS but instead start with a clean slate, and reinstall all your applications properly. Note that compatible hardware drivers for your audio equipment are very likely going to be needed (and hopefully available), so I’d research thoroughly all aspects of such an update before moving forward in any case.’
