EzDrummer/DFH Garageband 10, OSX10.9

Hey pals,

Not sure if anyone else is trying to use EZ/DFH on Mavericks (10.9) with the new (and crazily changed) garageband 10. I stupidly installed the garageband update without thinking and I cannot find EZdrummer for the life of me. There doesnt seem to be anyone else complaining of this so I must be doing something wrong. I installed the latest EZ update and still couldnt find anything. I was wondering if it called for a complete uninstall/reinstall since the new garageband is vastly different.

I uninstalled last night and reinstalled EZdrummer to see if maybe that would fix the issue. Still no luck!!

OK, i just found this today – seems promising so Ill try it tonight. Wanted to re-share just in case someone else is having the same issue.

“EZ Drummer is still alive and well in Mavericks and GarageBand 10.0. Since GB has a completely new UI it’s not easy to find things.

After you create a track open smart controls by clicking the button as indicated in the upper left area.”

“In the smart controls area click on the “i” and then on the audio units instrument space, which should then display all of your AU options.”
