Hi,
I’ve just been installing all my Toontrack products onto a new PC, using our Product Manager, which I have to say is very good and easy to use. However, when I now start my DAW and load anything that had an EZD track it crashes and produces a dump file, which I’ve attached. I then loaded a new project and tried to add EZD as a new instrument and again it crashed and created a dump.
My DAW is Cubase 7.5 running on Windows 10 64 bit. According to your PM EZD is installed, up to date and ready to use. Version 2.1.8, libraries 1.1.2 and Midi 1.0.3
Any help would be very much appreciated as this is a complete show stopper for me.

Nothing is attached, please try zipping it first.

Okay, I see it’s version 2.1.1 that crashed, so there’s probably some 2.1.1 EZdrummer.dll in your Cubase VST paths. Locate it and remove it, and add the path that the SD3 standalone uses, and it should work better.

Ah, that makes sense. I had moved an SSD over to my new PC, containing most of my sample libraries, etc. and I guess I was still running 2.1.1 on the old machine. PM installed the update and I ended up with two version. I will correct that later this evening when I get back to my studio machine.
Thank you for you very swift response and help
Much appreciated
Dave
