hi,
thanks for replying
but my problem is that the “extract all” button doesnt seem to show up when i click open.
the only options i have are “open” or “close”
sorry for the inconvenience and thanks in advance
Matt
Please provide your system details as it looks like you’re using Windows 10 through Boot Camp. Is that correct? Does your Mac OS support that configuration? Do you have the proper support software (drivers) installed with Boot Camp?
I’m not sure if Toontrack officially support Windows 10 yet. And EZdrummer1 isn’t going to be updated again to support new OSs.

yes, thats correct. I’m running windows 10 through bootcamp on my macbook pro.
windows 10 home
intrl core i7-4750hq @2.00ghz
8gb ram
64bit os
all my other vst/plugins have installed without a problem. so, im guessing that all the proper support software have been installed
is there anyway i can find a work around to this problem?
the reason im installing ezdrummer is because i have a crossgrade upgrade installation disk(s) of superior drummer 2.0
in short- i cant install superior drummer 2.0 without ezdrummer installed first
thanks again

Crossgrade or not, your installation of SuperiorDrummer is in NO way reliant upon installing EZDrummer first.
To clarify, having EZDrummer registered/licensed in your Toontrack account enabled you to buy the SD Crossgrade
but you DO NOT have to install EZDrummer before installing your SuperiorDrummer Crossgrade.
ohhhhhhhhh……
sorry for the inconvenience and wasting your time(if there was a smiley hitting itself in the head it’ll probably be here)
thanks anyways, you guys are quick to reply and are super helpful!

But that means Matt loses the use of the EZ Drummer kits right? I love my EZ drummer kits such as Vintage Sticks and Brushes. Seems a pity to have to give up such good sounds. I may not bother upgrading to windows 10 if that is the case!

Or upgrade to EZD2.
Keep these in mind:
– version 2.1.0 or above is required for Mac OS 10.10 and Windows 10 compatibility
– version 2.0.2 or above is required for Mac OS 10.9.5 and Windows 8.1 compatibility
– version 2.0.1 or above is required for Mac OS 10.9 and Windows 8 compatibility

EZDrummer libraries all work in SuperiorDrummer.
