Using MacOS Mojave with all the software upto date.
Cannot get ezdrummer to work.
Screenshots attached, please help.
Hi,
is that the message you get when you point it to the folder in your 1st screen shot?
Where is that folder located?
Then there’s the fact that you are using a product discontinued 4 years ago with a brand new OS? It wouldn’t be too strange if it’s that simple.
BR,
John

Hi,
Please do the following so we can see if anything seems wrong with your installed EZdrummer:
Open Applications > Utilities > Terminal.
Copy/paste the following lines, all at once, to the Terminal window:
defaults read /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/EZdrummer.vst/Contents/Info CFBundleShortVersionString
ls -aleO /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/EZdrummer.vst/Contents/MacOS
lipo -info /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/EZdrummer.vst/Contents/MacOS/EZdrummer
md5 /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/EZdrummer.vst/Contents/MacOS/EZdrummer
md5 /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/EZdrummer.vst/Contents/Info.plist
echo
Then select all text in the Terminal window (cmd-A), copy it and paste it in your reply.

Hm, everything looks correct. Can you open EZplayer (if you close the select-drummer window and click what looks like a play button)?

Well, I have tried EZdrummer 1.4.0 in Toontrack Solo on Mojave and it worked fine. You could try to run the EZdrummer 1.4.0 update installer again and reboot. If it still doesn’t work, check in Console (found in Applications > Utilities) if it says anything special when you open Solo.

I haven’t been able to get it to work even after uninstalling and reinstalling.
I’ll try the logs and see if anything turns up.
Edit: Nope not a squeak on the console either.
This is what I see in system.log on launching Solo.
oontrack solo[84794]: DEPRECATED USE in libdispatch client: dispatch source activated with no event handler set; set a breakpoint on _dispatch_bug_deprecated to debug
No other output in any other logs about solo specially.
