I’m using Studio One 5 as my DAW. I recently purchased EZdrummer 3. The bandmate option is great but the tempo is off. In Ezdrummer, the tempo starts off correct but then changes as the song goes on. I have also tried dragging the ezdrummer midi file into Studio One 5 as a drum track and the tempo is still off. Notes: The tempo at the bottom right corner in Studio One for my song says 130, If I check the tempo for each individual track, they all say 120. When using bandmate, the suggested tempo says 90. I’m sure this is the issue but changing the tempos in any of these areas just messes up the song. What do I need to do to fix this?

Hi there…
As your piano track was recorded with a metronome, what tempo was the metronome? That should be the tempo for the rest of the song, unless there are tempo changes within the song. Did you record the piano as MIDI or as audio?
If you want, you can’t go into S1, file> Save As > and save a copy of the song in a new folder. Open it up, strip everything out but the piano. Save the file. Zip the .song file and post it here and I will take a look.

Every step you listed was done by me. I updated the software first before trying this functionality again.
Personally, I don’t think it ever functioned as advertised, but that a whole other ball game.
I recorded a “dry” guitar with no Plugins on the track-I turned the Plugin “off”.
DAW tempo set at 100 BPM, and 4/4 time.
EZD3 set to follow host. The recorded “dry” signal is “dragged into” Bandmate>>where it picks up the correct tempo.
Hit “Play” and sounds, well, it sounds off. Way, Way off.
Nothing is even close-I recorded a simple chord progression in D.
This functionality was “THE SINGLE” reason Toon Track was purchased. I had asked this question before-and it was never answered. I figured I might as well try again.
Using Studio One 5
EZ Drummer 3 as an Instrument track within DAW
Thanks for any help in advance.
Respectfully,
Mike
