EZdrummer background hiss

I have noticed that when EZdrummer is playing back there is a lot of hiss/static. This also gets picked up when bouncing tracks…very frustrating!

I have been advised to install ASIO drivers on the view that this is a latency issue. I tried ASIO4ALL, which has not produced anything helpful for me. Other suggestions would be appreciated.

I am running the latest EZdrummer version with Pro Tools 8.0.5. Windows 7 64 bit, 3GB ram. I don’t know what sort of sound card I have 🙁

Is this with a project with only Ezdrummer and nothing else loaded (effects, other virtual instruments)?

What size audio buffer are you running?
